What the add-on can access

Dedupe & Compare asks Google for three permissions:

• View and manage the spreadsheet it is used in (spreadsheets.currentonly). It reads cell values in the sheets you choose so it can find, compare, merge or split rows, and writes the results back into that same spreadsheet. It cannot open any other file in your Google Drive.
• Show its sidebar inside Sheets (script.container.ui).
• Connect to an external service (script.external_request). Used only for the licence check below.

What happens to your data

All processing runs in Google Apps Script inside your own Google account. We do not run a server. The contents of your spreadsheet, its name, your email address and any other Google user data are never sent to us or to anyone else. We do not store, sell or share Google user data, and we do not use it for advertising or to train any model.

Licence key

If you buy a licence, the key is saved in your Google account's add-on storage. To check it, the add-on sends the key, and the activation id Lemon Squeezy issued for it, to Lemon Squeezy (api.lemonsqueezy.com). Nothing else is sent. The check runs when you add a key and then at most once every 7 days. Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record under its own privacy policy; we never see your card details.

Limited Use

Dedupe & Compare's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Removing it

Uninstall from Extensions › Add-ons › Manage add-ons, and remove its access at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Because we hold no copy of your data, there is nothing for us to delete; email us if you want your licence record removed from Lemon Squeezy.
